Large set of 270 pieces which includes 13 gears in 4 sizes, base plates and plenty of components to create an interesting supporting framework. The set also includes a new Universal Joint which enables the rotary motion to be transmitted to distant gears not in the same plane, a mechanical function present in most machines. This allows greater freedom when putting the gear trains together and creates impressive displays when everything is set in motion.

The set includes an instruction leaflet to help get started, and is packed in an illustrated box with many examples to copy.
